POST SOUND COURSE FOR CINEMA AND TV

Sound post-production course for cinema and TV will address the process of sound editing and movie mixing in Pro Tools, from direct sound organization, audio import, work steps.


Also editing dialogues, foleys, effects and editing ambiences. Using real examples of documentary and fiction series shown on TV channels, the workshop will show the entire process until the delivery of the final mix.

WHAT ARE THE COURSE OBJECTIVES?

01. introduce the concepts and techniques of sound editing and mixing for film and television.

02. Know basic concepts about sound such as: sound wave, frequency, amplitude. etc.

03. Discover a little about the history of sound in Cinema.

04.Learn about the division of the sound team within a film and TV production.

05.Aprender Sound Editing: Dialogues, foleys, SFX and ambience editing.

06. Learn Mixing in Pro Tools: EQ, reverbs, panorama, stereo and surround mixing.

Classes will be taught in groups, 4 zoom lessons with a duration of 2 hours each, plus 14 lessons of recorded content with a total duration of 14 hours. Totaling 22 hours of course!

HOW MUCH DOES A SOUND EDITOR EARN?

a sound editor earns between R$100 and R$250 per minute of finished audio, that is, a 15-minute short film earns between R$1500 and R$3,750, a job that takes around 15 to 25 hours of work.
